제 20 장  부 정 사 Ⅱ (Infinitive)
   
원형 부정사 : 부정사가 to없이 동사원형의 형태로 쓰이는 것을 말하며, 지각동사와 사역동의
목적보어로 쓰인다.

                  
                지각, 사역동사 + 목적어 + 목적보어 (원형부정사) 

   1) 지각동사 - 우리의 감각으로 보고, 듣고, 느끼는 동사.
         see, watch, look at, hear, listen to, feel..
         I heard her to cry somewhere. (Х)
         I heard her cry somewhere. (○)
         I saw him cross the street.

2) 사역동사 - 남에게 무엇인가를 하도록 시키는 동사.
        let, have, make, help (* help는 to부정사, 원형부정사 둘다 가능)
            
She made me clean the room.
            He had his daughter write a letter.
            I helped my mother to cook. (○)
            I helped my mother cook. (○)   

        3) to부정만을 목적어로 취하는 동사들 : want, ask, tell, expect, promise..
           
            I want him to go there.
            She asked me to stay at home.
            Mother told me to do my homework.

2. 관용적 표현
 
too ~ to .. (너무 ~ 해서 ..할수 없다) = so ~ that S can’t ..
        He is too tired to run.
        = He is so tired that he can’t run.
        I was too happy to sleep.
        = I was so happy that I couldn’t sleep.

2) enough to ~ (~할만큼 충분히 ~하다) = so ~ that S can ..
     She was kind enough to help me.
     = She was so kind that she could help me.
     He is rich enough to buy a car.
     = He is so rich that he can’t buy a car.

had better + 동사원형 (~하는 게 더 낫다)
It’s very cold outside. You had better wear a coat.
You had better not wear it. (~안 하는 게 더 낫다)

to 부정사의 부정 : not이나 never를 부정사 앞에 둔다
cf. Mother told me to do my homework.
Mother told me not to do my homework.
Mother didn’t tell me to do my homework.
